Before you buy followers, check the account is actually ready for them. The scan reads your public profile, tells you plainly whether now is the right moment, and sizes the package to the audience you already have.

What the scan checks, and why each one matters

The scan reads only what is already visible to anyone who opens your profile: whether the account is public, how many people follow it, how many videos you have posted, and how many likes those videos have collected. It never asks for a password, it does not need you to be signed in, and it does not follow, like or view anything on the account being scanned.

Those four numbers are enough to answer the only question that matters before a purchase: would followers actually do anything for this account right now? Two of the three possible answers are no, and in both cases you are told to wait rather than sold something.

Is the account public?

A private account cannot receive followers at all. Nobody can find the profile, nobody can follow it, and a delivery has nowhere to go.

This is the most common reason a scan comes back negative, and it is the easiest to fix. Switch the account to public in Settings and privacy, place the order, and switch it back to private once the delivery has finished. The followers you received stay where they are.

Is there anything to follow?

A follower is a decision somebody makes after looking at your profile. If the grid is empty, the decision is easy and it is no.

When the scan finds no videos and almost no existing followers, it tells you to post first. This costs us a sale and saves you one, because followers delivered to an empty profile buy you a number and nothing else.

Why the size of the package matters more than the size of the order

The fastest way to make bought followers obvious is to buy too many at once. An account with 80 followers that wakes up with 2,600 has not grown, it has announced something. Anyone who looks at the ratio between your followers, your posts and your likes can see it in about three seconds, and those are exactly the people whose opinion you were trying to change.

So the scan recommends a package sized against the audience you already have, roughly half to one times your current count, rather than the largest package you might be willing to pay for. Growth that stays in proportion reads as a good week. Growth that does not reads as a receipt.

Why followers change what people do

The reason a follower count matters at all is not vanity, it is that people use other people’s choices as a shortcut when they cannot judge something quickly. This has been measured properly rather than merely assumed.

In a study published in Science, researchers built an artificial music market and had 14,341 participants download unknown songs, some of them able to see what previous participants had chosen and some not. When social influence was visible, success became both more unequal and less predictable: the same song could become a hit or a flop depending on the early numbers people happened to see. Quality still mattered, but it only set the boundaries. As the authors put it, the best songs rarely did badly and the worst rarely did well, and almost any other outcome was possible.

That is the honest case for followers, and also the honest limit of them. Visible popularity changes which good things get noticed. It does not turn a weak profile into a strong one, which is exactly why the scan refuses to sell to an account with nothing on it.

Reading your own numbers

Divide your total likes by your number of posts, then compare that to your follower count. The result is a rough engagement signal, and it is what a visitor is estimating without thinking about it.

An account whose likes per post sit far below its follower count looks bought, whether or not it is. Keeping new followers in proportion to your existing audience is what stops that gap opening in the first place.

What we will not tell you

What is actually in anyone’s control is how a delivery behaves: real accounts rather than empty shells, paced over hours rather than dumped at once, and sized so the jump stays plausible. That is what the scan is enforcing on your behalf.

What happens after the scan
